Awareness, Healing, Youthful Energy, Improving Karma, and Relief from all negativity.

This Artwork:

Master Svietliy has drawn this beautiful, vibrant, and very powerful Green Tara, as a manifestation of Sayma-Tara's intentions, to relieve ignorance that may come in different forms like jealousy, anger, resentment, or pride. This Sacred Artwork, Thangka, has been presented in The Tongdrol Exhibition in Los Angeles, CA in 2019.

More about Green Tara, Her Posture, Mudra and Mantra:

Tara made a sacred vow to incarnate as a woman in every lifetime. She is often referred to as, “the primary Feminist.” Green Tara provides protection from all negative circumstances. She has a very strong healing energy and has the power to release her devotees from unawareness and fearfulness. Green Tara is the most energetic manifestation of all Tara expressions. Her color symbolizes youthful vigor and activity, healing, regeneration, and growth. She also belongs to the same lineage as Dhyani Buddha Amoghasiddhi, Lord of karma (action). Thus Green Tara is a goddess of Karma (action), as well.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama shares this about Tara, "There is a true feminist movement in Buddhism that relates to the goddess Tara… she vowed, 'I've developed bodhicitta as a woman. For all my lifetimes along the path I vow to be born as a woman, and in my final lifetime when I attain Buddhahood, then, too, I will be a woman.'"

Green Tara is often depicted in lalitasana (an attitude of ease), symbolizing the perfect balance of wisdom and creativity. Her right leg is extended, signifying readiness to move forward at any moment. Her left leg is folded in the meditative attitude on the lotus pedestal. Her left hand is positioned in a gesture of granting refuge, holding Utpala (blue lotus) that floats over her left shoulder and symbolizes purity and power. Her right hand is showing the outward-facing palm and downward hand, the Varada Mudra or Mudra of Generosity.

Green Tara Mantra: OM TARA TUTTARE TURE SOHA
